I’ve made a little magazine to test and to present my font Melbourne (which you can download here), here are some pictures.

Studying in Australia

In 2008 I’ve been studying one semester of Communication Design in Melbourne, Australia, at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Here is an overview of two of the classes I’ve been attending to, Information & Interface and Type & Identity. Type & Identity was held by Stephen Banham, the founder of Letterbox. Information & Interface was about concepts for useful information design, interfaces, guiding systems. Type & Indentity was all about using typography as the core element of a brand.

Melbourne font

Melbourne is a simple sans serif font that I started drawing in (guess what) Melbourne. Currently I’m working on the multiple master font and the numbers. I hope it will be finished around Christmas, but you never know…

Roth&Lewandowski

A long struggle, but finally we made it and created a logo for my friends Andreas Roth & Miros Lewandowski! Business cards, stickers and some other stuff are in progress or stuck at some printer, hopefully there’ll be some photos of the final work.

John Lennon St. Pauli

I was walking through St. Pauli and took a picture of a backyard, when a man told me that John Lennon used to live there between 1960 and 1962. As a proof, he showed me the cover of an LP with a picture of John Lennon standing in the entrance of the house.
